Brent Brevak

Brent Brevak, of Ashland,WI, has grown up in racing since day one.  Brevak’s father, Bob Brevak, was the 1990 ARCA Champion and a veteran NASCAR driver throughout the 1990’s.  Brevak started his own racing career in the MKA Go-Karting ranks at age 13.   He moved to racing stock cars on the dirt from ages 15-17, and then to asphalt at Madison International Speedway at age 18.   Brevak finished in the top 10 in points in 2007, just his second year of asphalt racing.

In 2008 Brevak moved up to the ASA North Late Model Series.  In his rookie season amidst a group of highly regarded competitors, Brevak finished 16th in the final point standings.  In 2008 Brevak continued to mature as a driver as a top ten competitor, and ultimately finished in the top 10 in the final point standings.

The second-generation driver Brevak made his ARCA Series racing debut at Rockingham Speedway in 2009.  In a 40+ car field that included veteran NASCAR drivers, Brevak turned heads in qualifying with the 16th best time out of a 48 car field.  With limited funding and taking time to focus on his college degree, Brevak ran a limited ARCA schedule in 2010.

To start the 2011 ARCA season Brevak took to the high speeds of Daytona and Talladega Superspeedway.  In each of the Superspeedway events Brevak was a top 15 contender on the track but came home with 38th, and 26th place finishes because of mechanical issues.  In his third race of the season, and only the seventh ARCA race of his career, Brevak forged his way into his first top ten finish of his ARCA career at Chicagoland Speedway.

In addition to pursuing his racing career, Brevak received his Bachelors Degree in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2011.   Brevak also works as a top sales associate for Scheels All Sports in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and was a public relations intern for the WNBA’s Minnesota Lynx.
